Location
Blanes is located in the Spanish region of Catalonia on the Costa Brava. The resort is popular with Spanish holidaymakers and also attracts international tourists due to its location just 60 kilometres north of Barcelona airport but even easier is Girona airport which is 20 mins away. It's a quieter and altogether more relaxing holiday destination than its lively neighbour Lloret de Mar. Teenagers may find it a little dull but for families and couples seeking an easy going "sea, sun and sand" holiday, Blanes has much to offer.
Ricky´s Bar is located in the old part of Blanes which still retains it character from many years ago.The town hall of Blanes tends to put on more concerts and festivities in this part of town rather than the Los Pinos and camping areas.Just up the hill from the bar is the church where most weekends there is a play or concert being performed.Feel free to contact me and I will endeavour to help in any way I can.....RICKY
